Meet Christine

I’m Christine Munsell, founder and personal coach at American Communication Studio. I help adult English speakers communicate with greater clarity, natural rhythm, and confidence in American professional and social settings.

I began teaching in Texas in 1990 and bring more than two decades of experience in classroom teaching, private instruction, and online coaching. Since 2022, I have specialized in working online with adults and have conducted more than 3,000 sessions with clients from around the world.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Texas at San Antonio and an Associate of Applied Science in Interpreting for the Deaf from San Antonio College. I am a Texas-certified educator in English, English Language Arts, English as a Second Language, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education, and Special Education.

My coaching is personal, warm, and direct. Through meaningful conversations and materials selected for your interests and professional goals, we may work on American pronunciation, speech rhythm and intonation, linking, vocabulary, grammar, idioms, cultural references, and professional communication. I listen carefully and provide specific, practical feedback designed to help you make lasting changes.

I work exclusively with adults at intermediate through advanced levels, including fluent speakers who want to refine how they communicate. I do not teach beginners or children.
